Stanley & Associates is a personal injury law firm located in Plano, TX. We are a goal and team-oriented firm helping people through tough times.
Our legal assistant position requires someone who is comfortable making calls, likes to ask questions, takes the initiative to find solutions, and enjoys helping people. The ideal candidate would rather be communicating with people than pushing paper.
We are looking to hire an entry-level, in-office, team player. You must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Ideal Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Spanish is ideal
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both languages
Ability to establish a routine and manage time
A go-getter with results-driven mentality
Exceptional internal and external customer service skills
Comfortable with computers, email, note taking, and other clerical duties
Comfortable on the phone with high volume calls
Experience with outbound/inbound calls
Detail oriented with great organization skills
Ability to adapt to changes and technology
Call center experience a plus
Sales experience a plus
Responsibilities – this is not an all inclusive list:
Assisting clients with various aspects of their case including, but not limited to, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and retrieving pertinent information
Documenting all work done on cases
Sorting and filing pertinent documentation relevant to each case
Making 20 outbound calls per day to clients to provide status updates
Responding to internal and external customers promptly and courteously via email or phone call
Drafting and sending documents through email, fax, or post
Utilizing various tools and software, such as Adobe, Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets, E-mail, and more.
