Our client, a large energy producer, is looking to hire a Commercial Contracts Advisor to their team for an initial 12 month contract. This role is currently hybrid in Calgary.
Commercial Contracts Advisor will be accountable for reviewing, drafting and negotiating standard and non-standard agreements, crude oil and natural gas and refined products related commodity agreements
Responsibilities Include:
Ensure timely and accurate execution of TSL commodities purchase and sale agreements.
Coordinate with Front Office and support functions for drafting, negotiating, and amending agreements.
Work with Front Office and Support Functions to develop and improve agreements.
Manage retention of relevant documents.
Coordinate with Front Office and support functions for drafting, negotiating, and amending agreements.
Qualifications:
3-5+ years related experience in negotiation of various commodity purchase and sale contracts
Exceptional understanding of Incoterms
Experience in execution, management and retention of contracts
Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
Proficiency in understanding of legal contractual language
