Position: COMMERCIAL AND LITIGATION ATTORNEY
This well-established law firm is looking for an Attorney with at least 10 years of Commercial and Litigation experience to join their team at the Pretoria branch.
Job Description
& Responsibilities:
Appear before the High Court
Handle commercial matters and litigation
Experience in building law and liquidations
Manage all aspects of litigation including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
Oversee a litigation caseload from inception to completion
Manage multiple clients and matters effectively
Conduct legal research and provide written analyses of legal questions
Draft motions and briefs
Collaborate with other attorneys to resolve legal issues
Provide timely case updates to clients
Develop case strategies and projections
Qualifications and Skills:
LLB Degree and admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
At least 10 years of experience
Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
High Court experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proactive and solution-oriented approach to legal challenges
