Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Nottingham – Up to £75,000

A leading UK law firm is looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its specialist healthcare team in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a growing team handling a varied caseload of complex healthcare matters. You will work with a broad range of healthcare clients and have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, client relationships and wider legal experience.

The Role:

  • Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters across pre-litigation and litigated claims
  • Conduct claims independently or provide support on more complex matters
  • Draft pleadings, correspondence and detailed legal advice
  • Attend hearings and undertake advocacy where appropriate
  • Provide high-quality, commercially focused advice to clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support the development of junior colleagues through supervision and mentoring
  • Contribute to business development and wider team initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the healthcare practice
  • Ensure matters are managed efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards

About You:

  • A Qualified Solicitor with experience in clinical negligence
  • Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and claims management
  • Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercially aware with a client-focused approach
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Confident managing a varied caseload and competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and IT skills
