**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness.
**Responsibilities:**
– Assist in legal case management and organization
– Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw
– Transcribe legal documents and correspondence
– Review and summarize legal documents
– Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
– Assist in preparing legal documents for filing and litigation
– Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed
**Skills:**
– Knowledge of law and legal procedures
– Proficiency in Legal case management software
– Familiarity with Westlaw or other legal research tools
– Ability to transcribe legal documents accurately
– Strong research skills for gathering case-related data
– Experience in document review and analysis
– Administrative skills to handle office tasks efficiently
– Legal administrative experience is a plus
– Ability to maintain and organize legal files effectively
