Job Title: Part-time Deputy Clerk (19 hours per week)
Department: Planning & Zoning
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Various Hours
Pay Rate: $16.40 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Job Duties: You will provide administrative/clerical duties in support of the Zoning Office to include but not limited to phone duties, filing, copying, mailings, memos, letters, assisting residents, contractors, etc. regarding permitting and/or inspections.
Desired Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, basic PC skills with experience using Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with frequent customer contact as you will be providing excellent customer service to the residents of Iroquois County. You will need to possess effective verbal and written communication skills to work with all internal and external contacts. If you possess these characteristics and can demonstrate the ability to be a successful team member, then we would like to speak to you. Although not required, you will be ahead of the learning curve if you have any experience with GIS, Eagleview or National Flood Mapping System.
