The Raleigh office of Wall Templeton & Haldrup, P.A. is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal. Qualified candidates should have at least 2-5 years of experience. North Carolina Certification and insurance defense experience is preferred.
Job duties:
– Reviewing and drafting of pleadings, discovery, and other documents
– Reviewing, indexing, and summarizing records and documents
– Preparing medical chronologies and medical bill spreadsheets
– Electronic filing of court pleadings in state and federal court
– Scheduling hearings, depositions, etc.
– Maintaining databases with client records and documents
– Preparation of trial/hearing binders
– Corresponding with clients, opposing counsel and courts
Minimum Requirements:
– Experience using e-Discovery / Litigation platforms preferred
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Ability to work well with a team
