Role
Support product development by providing timely IP inputs to relevant stakeholders (RA, R&D etc.) to ensure smooth product launch.
Provide insights in patent litigation and opposition to align with product strategy in a cost effective manner.
Identify new product opportunities for driving portfolio selection and evaluate innovative ideas to identify new opportunities for patent protection/ development for differentiated product
Conduct patentability and Invalidation searches and draw strategies for the same.
Undertake diligence activity for products of interest to apprise stakeholders about the value proposition in acquiring / licensing/ the product from IP standpoint for M&A deals
Educational qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)/ Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law
Relevant experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) with 12 years of relevant experience/ Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) with 10 years of relevant experience preferably with a Diploma in Intellectual Property Law.
Additional skills:
Should have relevant techno-legal experience with respect to regulated markets
Should have in-depth knowledge of Patent laws of India, US and Europe.
Should have an eye for detail and acumen for Paragraph IV filings in USA.
