Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including securities law, personal injury law, and workers’ compensation law. This role requires excellent legal research skills and proficiency in utilizing legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. The Attorney will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to our clients while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
Provide legal advice on a variety of issues related to securities law, personal injury law, and workers’ compensation law.
Maintain accurate records of case files and documentation in accordance with legal standards.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective case management.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases or the firm’s practice areas.
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar association is required.
Previous experience working in a law office environment is preferred.
Familiarity with legal administrative tasks and procedures is a plus.
Proficient in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and representation.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 – $75.00 per hour
