Childcare Solicitor – min 2 years PQE – City – London – hybrid
Childcare Solicitor – panel accredited or working towards – Min 2 years PQE – London – City – Hybrid
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and driven solicitor to join a thriving and specialist Children & Family Law team with a strong reputation for handling complex and high-profile matters, including radicalisation and non-accidental injury cases.
The team receives regular instructions from Children’s Guardians and is known for providing high-quality legal representation across public and private children law proceedings, as well as developing work in Divorce & Finance.
The Role
You will join a supportive and forward-thinking department committed to excellence, where you will:
Manage your own diverse caseload of children law matters
Prepare and conduct family cases including advocacy at court
Build and maintain a client/Guardian following
Work both independently and collaboratively within an expert legal team
What they are Looking For
2–5 years PQE with experience in public and private children law
Children Panel accreditation or working towards it
Strong advocacy experience and confident case management skills
A commitment to legal aid work and high-quality client service
Ability to develop new work and build strong relationships
Salary & Working Environment
Competitive salary dependent upon PQE/Accreditation/Following
Hybrid working: 2–3 office days per week post-induction (2-week full-time induction period)
Excellent holiday allowance (23 days + bank holidays)
