As of May 16th, a prestigious law firm is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer to be based in New York City and direct firm-wide HR operations, serving as a key advisor. This position will include:
Developing and executing HR strategy for the firm.
Advising on succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, compensation, and benefits administration.
Working closely with firm leadership in developing firm policies.
Resolving employee relations issues, conducting performance evaluations, and overseeing all legal and non-legal staffing needs.
Managing a team of professionals.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within legal or professional services settings.
Ability to demonstrate strong HR acumen as well as substantive knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and techniques.
This person should be able to implement procedural enhancements, hire and train a talented team of professionals, and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters.
