Role Overview
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, and financial leadership to a diversified, multi-disciplinary organization with business interests across FMCG, Hospitality, and Education sectors. The CEO will drive vision, growth, and profitability while ensuring alignment with shareholder expectations and long-term sustainability.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Define and articulate the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy.
- Identify growth opportunities across FMCG, Hospitality, and Education verticals.
- Drive expansion, diversification, and market positioning initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all business units ensuring efficiency and performance.
- Establish robust operating frameworks and governance structures.
- Ensure cross-functional alignment and synergy between diverse business verticals.
Financial Performance & Growth
- Work closely with the CFO to drive financial planning, capital allocation, and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and key business metrics.
- Lead fundraising initiatives including IPO readiness and investor engagement.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary interface with Board of Directors, investors, and key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulators, partners, and external agencies.
- Represent the organization in public forums and industry platforms.
Business Development & Expansion
- Identify and execute mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Explore new markets and revenue streams across sectors.
- Strengthen brand positioning and competitive advantage.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, legal regulations, and ethical practices.
- Lead risk management initiatives across the organization.
- Maintain transparency and accountability in all operations.
Leadership & Culture
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing executive leadership team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance excellence.
- Drive organizational transformation and change management initiatives.
Candidate ProfileExperience & Qualifications
- Minimum 20+ years of leadership experience, with significant exposure at CXO level.
- Proven track record in managing diversified or multi-sector businesses.
- Strong understanding of FMCG, Hospitality, and Education sectors.
- Experience in IPO, Private Equity, and large-scale fundraising is highly desirable.
- MBA or equivalent leadership qualification preferred (top-tier institutions desirable).
