About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to support our client law and tax advisory firm in delivering compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. This fractional role involves working directly with multiple clients, providing oversight, guidance, and implementation of compliance frameworks in line with local and international regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the designated compliance lead for multiple client accounts across financial, legal, and corporate sectors
Design, implement, and monitor compliance programs, policies, and procedures in line with client risk profiles and jurisdictions
Ensure adherence to AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, GDPR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks
Conduct compliance reviews, internal audits, and risk assessments
Liaise with regulatory bodies and support clients during inspections or filings
Draft and review compliance manuals, internal controls, and reporting templates
Provide training and advisory support to client teams on compliance best practices
Monitor regulatory developments and advise clients on relevant changes
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field
7+ years of compliance experience, ideally within law, tax, or professional services firms
Strong understanding of international tax compliance, AML regulations, and data protection laws
Experience working across multiple clients or in a consultancy setting preferred
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Professional certifications (e.g., ICA, CAMS, CCEP) a plus
