Key Responsibilities
Organizing and managing case files and legal documents
Drafting, proofreading, and formatting pleadings and correspondence
Handling court filings, including e-filing with California State Court, Federal Court, and the Office of Administrative Hearings
Assisting with discovery and legal research
Managing attorney calendars, scheduling deadlines, and tracking case progress
Facilitating client and attorney communications
Qualifications
Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program
Minimum 2+ years of paralegal experience in a litigation setting
Proficiency in researching court rules and procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in legal software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and case management/billing software
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $33.00–$43.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
