Trial Attorney – Personal Injury Law
Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in Hollywood, FL is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join their personal injury and maritime law practice. Duties:
Represent clients in all stages of trial, from pre-litigation to post-verdict
Handle complex personal injury and maritime cases, providing exceptional legal counsel and advocacy
Conduct legal research and prepare compelling legal documents, motions, and pleadings
Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation proceedings
Manage and execute full trial preparation, including jury trial experience
Provide strategic legal guidance to clients, ensuring clear communication and expectations
Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and client relations
Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal case outcomes
Requirements:
6-15 years of experience in trial litigation, specifically in personal injury and maritime law
Active membership with the Florida Bar and admission to the Southern District Trial Bar
Proven ability to manage and litigate complex cases, with at least 10 jury trials to verdict in Circuit Court
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Extensive trial experience and confidence in courtroom settings
Civil Trial Board Certification and Maritime/Admiralty Board Certification are a plus
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Southern District Trial Bar Admission
Maritime/Admiralty Board Certification (preferred)

Strong oral and written advocacy
Strategic case management and negotiation skills
Effective legal research and documentation preparation
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
