A premier boutique law firm seeks to hire for its midtown Manhattan office (in the office four days weekly) a midlevel or senior litigation associate for a position focused on high-net-worth matrimonial litigation matters; matrimonial experience is not required. The firm offers competitive compensation for this space (likely salary of $185,000 to $275,000, depending on background and experience), has an elite set of attorneys (several from top BigLaw firms, including former Cravath, Davis Polk, Skadden, and Simpson Thacher attorneys), and works on sophisticated matrimonial matters. Attorneys bill about 1800 to 2000 or so hours per year. The firm seeks to hire a well-credentialed litigator who ideally has financial litigation experience. I have placed seven associates with the firm, including four with major BigLaw backgrounds.
