We are seeking an experienced attorney for contract work focused on class action case development and complaint drafting. Position is remote with flexible hours, estimated 15-25 hours per week initially.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate potential class action cases
Draft class action complaints and pleadings
Research causes of action and liability theories
Evaluate case viability
Requirements:
Active attorney license in good standing (any US jurisdiction)
Prior experience with class action cases
Knowledge of U.S. Federal Court pleadings, specifically complaint drafting in federal court
Strong legal research and writing skills
We are a growing 100% remote company that focuses on technology so knowledge of technology is helpful. We meet on zoom and communicate on Slack. We use Office 365 suite. This is a fractional/hourly/contract position, and we are seeking someone long term who can grow with our firm. There are opportunities for advancement if you are interested in that.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
