Overview:
Our firm is looking for an experienced personal injury case manager, who has proficiency and experience in helping injured victims receive the highest quality care. We are looking for a driven candidate who thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
Candidate must be able to screen review medical reports and help coordinate treatment recommendations, monitor medical treatment, properly communicate with clients regarding their medical care and treatment, prepare demand drafts, and communicate with insurance adjusters.
An ideal candidate is organized, resourceful and a quick learner. You will work with clients and should be comfortable speaking with people. You should be friendly and confident.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience with intake and processing of personal injury cases including ordering law enforcement reports, medical records, etc.
- Must be able to work independently yet under the direct supervision of the attorney in a fast-paced office.
- Knowledge of personal injury pre-litigation experience required.
- Must be able to work efficiently and “multi-task” with respect to file work.
- Have experience with the efficient allocation of time and other resources.
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be punctual and trustworthy
Duties:
- Expeditiously prepare forms, correspondence, and “work up” personal injury files.
- Manage personal injury case files using legal case management systems ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
- Interview clients, witnesses, medical providers, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for case development
- Support project management efforts by tracking case deadlines, and follow-up actions to ensure timely progress
- Order healthcare records, accident reports, etc., resolution of vehicle property damage claims, communications with clients, claims representatives, case managers, attorneys, healthcare workers, and others in the field.
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
