Ticombo is looking for a local City Captain in different cities of Canada to coordinate our street team campaign during selected FIFA World Cup 2026 match days.
Selected match days in Toronto:
June 20 and July 2, 2026. Selected match days in Vancouver:
July 2 and July 7, 2026.
As a City Captain, you will be responsible for recruiting and coordinating two additional people to form a local 3-person team. On match days, your team will move around key areas of the city and distribute Ticombo flyers with QR discount codes to football fans.
This is not a sales role. The goal is to distribute QR codes in high-traffic fan areas and help Ticombo build visibility during match days. One person from the team will need to wear Ticombo’s Punka costume. Ticombo will provide all required materials, including flyers, QR codes, basic guidelines, and the costume.
The City Captain will also complete 2 extra paid work days to support local bar deals and distribute materials in bars. This includes helping identify and contact sports bars or fan-friendly bars, supporting possible agreements to place Ticombo advertising materials, and delivering coasters and table cards with QR codes to approved bars. Ticombo will print and ship these materials to Toronto and Vancouver.
The team may also be asked to take a few easy photos and videos as proof of work and for possible social media use.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and coordinate two reliable people.
- Lead the local team.
- Distribute Ticombo flyers with QR discount codes in high-traffic fan areas.
- Make sure one person wears the Punka costume.
- Take a few simple photos/videos as proof of work.
- Complete 2 extra paid days to support local bar deals and distribute coasters/table cards.
Compensation
- USD 600 per match day for the full 3-person team.
- 1% commission on every sale generated through the team’s QR code or discount link.
- Additional USD 200 for the City Captain only, covering 2 extra work days at USD 100/day.
Requirements
- Based in Toronto or Vancouver.
- Reliable, organized, and able to coordinate a small team.
- Available on all match days in the city.
- Able to work independently and report basic updates to a remote team.
