Title: Business Services/Due Diligence Paralegal

Job Description
The position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Review and analysis of title commitments and underlying exception documents
Review entity documents for entities involved in transactions
Review certificates of good standing/certificates of existence
Review, and summarize UCC, lien, judgment and other searches
Ensure receipt and review of due diligence items; review and summarize such items
Assist lawyers with initial drafts of loan documents
Update closing checklists for drafting documents, review, negotiations and closing
Communicate due diligence and transaction progress to team
Experience And Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree and certificate from well-accredited paralegal training program, preferred, but not required based on experience
Relevant paralegal experience, title company or other experience preferred but not required
SBA experience preferred but not required
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments while delivering consistent, quality work-product to both attorneys and clients
Strong attention to detail and ability to self-start
Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision and to seek help when needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
