Cantrell Schuette is a growing litigation boutique focused on employment rights, franchise rights, and complex business disputes. While much of our work is plaintiff-side, our clients range from Fortune 500 and high-level executives to everyday people.
Most of our attorneys were previously associates or partners in Big Law. We are fundamentally different in that we are mission-driven to represent those who have been harmed or defrauded.
The position we are seeking to fill would also handle or assist with arbitration and trials that may be nationwide. Therefore, some travel is expected.
We have a compensation structure that allows our senior attorneys to make more than their counterparts in large firms. We handle hourly rate, flat fee, and contingency work.
We deeply value quality of life and do not push our attorneys to have consistent high-hour months. At the same time, success in this role requires a sense of urgency, focus, and strong organizational skills.
We are also committed to professional development. To that end, we conduct monthly in-house trainings and encourage our attorneys to be active in organizations.
Minimum Requirements
We are seeking someone with a minimum of four (4) years of litigation experience. We have a preference for someone with:
Experience in business litigation or employment litigation;
Experience with evidentiary hearings;
Strong academic credentials.
We also prefer that the candidate reside in or near the Greater Tampa Bay area.
