Role Description
This is a full-time on-site (hybrid) corporate/commercial lawyer role located in Toronto. The successful applicant will be responsible for handling legal matters for individual and commercial clients, providing legal advice, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in business transactions
Qualifications A portable book of business
Strong knowledge of corporate law and regulations
Experience in contract drafting and negotiation
Experience in mergers and acquisitions
Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong
communication
and interpersonal skills
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
The successful candidate will have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience and have a partial or full practice with an opportunity to work on internally referred corporate and commercial matters.
