A respected law firm is seeking Associates to join its Corporate Finance group in either New York or Washington, D.C. This team advises clients on a wide range of financing matters, with a strong focus on borrower-side leveraged finance and fund finance transactions .
Key Responsibilities:
Represent borrowers in complex leveraged finance transactions, including syndicated loans and credit facilities
Advise on fund finance matters, such as capital call and NAV-based facilities
Draft and negotiate loan agreements and related financing documentation
Work closely with private equity sponsors, fund clients, and financial institutions
Collaborate with colleagues across corporate, tax, and fund formation teams
Candidate Requirements:
JD from an accredited law school
Bar admission in NY or D.C. preferred, or eligibility to waive in
2–7 years of experience (JD Class Years 2018–2022)
Prior experience with borrower-side finance or fund finance transactions strongly preferred
Strong drafting, analytical, and client management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
