Duties
Provide general corporate legal counseling, including guidance on corporate governance and compliance.
Advise clients on banking and finance matters, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Assist in mergers and acquisitions transactions, from due diligence to negotiation and documentation.
Engage in tax-exempt financing, providing specialized advice in this area.
Conduct legal research, draft documents, and prepare client communications.
Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive team environment and contribute to the firms overall success.
Requirements
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in a law firm setting, particularly in business and finance-related areas.
Admission to practice law in the state of Massachusetts; membership in the Massachusetts Bar is required (multiple state bar admissions are a plus).
Demonstrated ability to write and draft legal documents with clarity and precision.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically about complex legal issues.
