Job Summary:
The Customs Bonded Warehouse Sales & Compliance Manager leads the sales, setup, and compliance of bonded warehouse services across Naniq locations. You drive revenue by developing bonded business opportunities and ensure bonded operations meet all U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations. You align cross-functional teams—sales, operations, and compliance—to deliver secure, cost-effective solutions to clients.

We enable the MLC to deepen customer relationships by applying our expertise across many verticals (ocean, air, road, final mile, etc.). Through our vast network of contacts and partners, we offer a buffet of complex services that most MLCs are unable to easily offer on their own. Acting as the MLC, Naniq is able to capture incremental profit and deepen relationships with shippers – all to the benefit of the partnered MLC.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a bonded warehouse sales strategy
Identify high-value opportunities with importers, exporters, and freight forwarders
Build long-term client relationships focused on compliance, savings, and reliability
Oversee the creation and maintenance of bonded spaces within Naniq facilities
Ensure warehouse operations meet CBP regulations and bonded space standards
Lead coordination between sales, warehouse, and compliance teams
Manage bonded warehouse approval applications and renewals with CBP
Ensure accurate CBP documentation and reporting (Forms 7501, 6043, inventory records)
Support internal and external audits, reconciliations, and inspections
Train internal staff on bonded processes, documentation, and client handling
Track KPIs for bonded revenue, client growth, and CBP compliance performance
Report progress and risks to senior leadership
Qualifications:
3+ years managing bonded warehouse services or related logistics operations
Familiarity with CBP processes for bonded approval, audits, and reporting
Background in freight forwarding, import/export sales, or 3PL services
Experience launching bonded capabilities at new or existing warehouse sites

CBP standards are consistently met across all bonded Naniq locations
Teams are trained, aligned, and efficient in bonded operations
Clients receive consistent, compliant, and transparent service
Physical Requirements:
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds will be done using team lift. Must meet physical lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
