Full Time Legal Assistant:
The Law Offices of Stockton & Kandt, LLC is seeking 2 full time Legal Assistants for our Gardner & Overland Park, Kansas Office. Office hours are Monday – Thursday, 7:30 a.m. through 5:30 p.m., for a full forty-hour work week. This is a 4- DAY WORK WEEK.
The Law Offices of Stockton & Kandt, LLC is a small growing law firm providing excellent legal services in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Medicaid, Trust Administration, etc. We have offices located in both Gardner and Overland Park, Kansas. Job Description:
The Legal Assistant (LA) position requires greeting incoming visitors and firm clientele and answering incoming phone calls to the firm as well as determining needs and forwarding information to the appropriate staff. The LA will schedule appointments and maintain calendars for our attorneys and staff. The LA will also perform other clerical and office duties as needed, such as photocopying, scanning, filing, assembling work product, and prepare estate planning binders for delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will have solid computer, phone, and typing skills with experience in any of the following areas: customer service, banking, legal services, or any other similar field. You will need to be organized, detailed oriented, and good at multitasking and problem solving. You should have a pleasant phone voice and be able to engage incoming callers and visitors to our firm in conversation. The Law Office of Stockton & Kandt, LLC is seeking individuals who truly enjoy communicating and interacting with people.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position will be salaried based on experience. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. The Law Offices of Stockton & Kandt, LLC offers a 401(k) with an employer match, a health insurance program, disability insurance, and life insurance. Stockton & Kandt, LLC also offers paid personal time, as well as other benefits, including a 4-day workweek.
