About
the Role
This position is based in the Greater Cincinnati/Dayton area.
As a Blended Practice Area Consultant, you will engage with law firms and law schools to foster product adoption and active usage. Your responsibilities include assessing customer needs, developing tailored business plans, educating clients, and partnering internally to ensure customer satisfaction and contract renewals.
Responsibilities
Utilize consultative sales techniques to increase active users and preference among law firms and law schools
Communicate effectively with legal professionals to understand their challenges and suggest innovative solutions
Listen to customer feedback and respond with tailored product solutions to improve their work-life balance
Develop strategic account plans, identify sales opportunities, and analyze competitors
Collaborate with law firm client managers to address challenges and close significant opportunities
Deliver compelling presentations that highlight our value proposition and differentiators
Implement marketing strategies to position Lexis Nexis as a top-tier resource
Manage hourly student workers to support outreach efforts at law schools
Requirements
Juris Doctor degree
Active member of the State Bar of Ohio
Legal practice, training, or sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in developing account plans and coordinating stakeholders
Strong networking skills and professional demeanor
Ability to travel up to 50% based on business needs
Ability to work independently and manage a territory
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to achieve shared goals
