Join our growing legal team as a Bilingual Workers’ Compensation & Personal Injury Paralegal. We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about helping injured clients navigate the legal process. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and courts to ensure cases are handled efficiently from intake through resolution.
Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required, as you will communicate directly with clients in both languages. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury cases from intake through settlement or trial.
- Open and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are organized and up to date.
- Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish regarding case status, medical treatment, appointments, and document requests.
- Interpret for attorneys during client meetings as needed.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally while providing exceptional customer service.
- Schedule client appointments, depositions, independent medical examinations (IMEs), mediations, and hearings.
- Request, review, and organize medical records, billing records, wage records, and insurance documents.
- Prepare legal documents, pleadings, discovery responses, settlement demands, subpoenas, and correspondence.
- File documents with courts and administrative agencies while ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Communicate with insurance carriers, opposing counsel, medical providers, and expert witnesses.
- Track statutes of limitation, litigation deadlines, hearing dates, and other critical case deadlines.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all ethical and legal standards.
- Perform general administrative and paralegal duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Workers’ Compensation and/or Personal Injury paralegal experience.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury procedures from intake through resolution.
- Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, settlement demands, and legal correspondence.
- Ability to review and organize medical records, billing records, and insurance documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Experience with legal case management software is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential client information.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
