Job Description
Reputable 15-attorney Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Law Firm handling high-value cases is seeking a highly-skilled, motivated Personal InjuryLitigation Paralegal with experience in either plaintiff’s personal injury or bodily injury defense litigation to join its DOWNTOWN HOUSTON office. (This is a 100% “IN OFFICE” position – if you’re looking for remote, please do not apply).
MUST BE BILINGUAL – 100% FLUENT IN READING, WRITING AND SPEAKING SPANISH!
IDEAL CANDIDATE will have 5+ years experience as a Plaintiff’s or B.I. Defense LITIGATION Paralegal. You will have helped prepare personal injury cases for trial in TX, including trial binders, designations, motions in limine, and other trial motions.
SALARY: $75,000 to $85,000 (DOE)
DUTIES:
Issuing HIPAA authorizations for medical records/bills
Drafting demand letters
Reviewing and summarizing medical records to prepare medical records summaries/chronologies
Drafting pleadings/motions
Issuing and answering written discovery
E-filing
Legal research
Assisting attorneys in preparing for depositions, mediations, and trials
Should be highly detail-oriented, independent, organized, and able to multi-task.
