What You’ll Bring:
Paralegal diploma or equivalent legal training.
Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience in a legal, regulatory, or compliance environment (preferred).
Experience in a highly regulated industry (financial services, credit reporting, privacy) is an asset.
Bilingual in both English and French (written and spoken).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism in handling privileged and sensitive information.
Strong ethical judgment and discretion.
Impact You’ll Make:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal, Regulatory Affairs to join our Legal team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the management of regulatory matters, litigation, and escalated consumer complaints within a dynamic and highly regulated environment. Working closely with Legal Counsel and cross-functional partners, you will help ensure that legal files, documentation, and processes are maintained with precision, consistency, and audit readiness.

Legal File & Documentation Management
Maintain and update legal and regulatory records within HighQ (our legal file repository), ensuring information is accurate, complete, and promptly reflected based on incoming consumer complaints, regulatory correspondence, and case developments.
Prepare and organize List Case Activities (LCA) worksheets, summaries, evidence, and supporting documentation, ensuring materials are complete, clearly structured, and retained in accordance with established processes.
Manage and maintain Legal shared drives, applying consistent naming conventions, version control practices, and appropriate safeguards to ensure organization, accessibility, and confidentiality of sensitive information.
Complaint & Regulatory Support
Coordinate intake and documentation for new complaints by partnering with Complaint Management to gather case summaries, LCAs, and supporting materials, ensuring files are complete and organized for Legal Counsel review.
Support the handling of escalated and regulatory complaints by preparing case files, tracking key milestones and timelines, and assisting with coordination activities to enable timely review and resolution.
Coordinate the preparation and issuance of consumer response letters by compiling required inputs, supporting draft development, and facilitating alignment with Complaint Management and Legal Counsel to ensure accuracy and consistency.
