The Account Specialist serves as the primary point of contact at the client site while maintaining a strong client relationship. The Account Specialist should be a proven take charge performer who is self-managed, motivated and driven to consistently exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the timely and efficient processing of requests for records
Guarantees flawless delivery of release of information (ROI) by ensuring compliance with the request, authorization and HIPAA regulations
Ensures that all processes and procedures are being followed and quality standards are at a minimum being met
Work efficiently with internal management group to ensure a smooth, timely, effective and productive workflow
Collaborate with internal team to quickly resolve any issues that may arise and, if necessary, escalate any major issues to Supervisor
Required to abide by all company security policies in the course of their duties
Requirements:
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree, or 2 years of experience in a similar position
Ability to work independently with a solution minded attitude
Quality conscious and detail oriented with strong problem solving and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office applications
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and co-workers
Professional, dedicated and dependable team player
Limited travel may be required on an as needed basis
