Bilingual Litigation Paralegal Jobs in Corpus Christi, TX at Griffin Purnell

Litigation Paralegal – Personal Injury & Complex Civil Litigation

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Work Setting: In-office

Build Your Career—and Make a Meaningful Difference

Griffin Purnell, LLC is seeking an experienced, self-motivated litigation paralegal who takes pride in exceptional work, notices the details others miss, and wants to help people whose lives have been changed by serious injuries.

With offices in Corpus Christi, Texas, and the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, area, Griffin Purnell litigates cases nationwide. Our broad geographic practice gives our team the opportunity to work on an unusually deep and varied caseload involving different jurisdictions, legal issues, industries, and fact patterns.

Our firm represents plaintiffs in complex personal injury and civil litigation matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, institutional negligence, and other cases involving catastrophic injuries and serious harm.

This is not a routine administrative position. You will be an important member of the litigation team, working directly with attorneys and helping move meaningful cases forward from initial investigation through discovery, trial preparation, and resolution.

We especially encourage bilingual professionals who can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to apply.

Come Home—or Build Your Future in Corpus Christi

If you grew up in the Coastal Bend, have family ties to South Texas, or are looking to leave the traffic and cost of living in San Antonio, Houston, McAllen, Brownsville, Austin, or another major market, we would be glad to hear from you.

Corpus Christi offers the opportunity to develop a sophisticated, nationwide litigation career while enjoying the lifestyle, community, and affordability of the Texas Gulf Coast. We welcome applications from experienced professionals seeking to return to the area, relocate, or establish long-term roots here.

What You Will Do

As a litigation paralegal, you will take ownership of important case-management responsibilities, including:

  • Managing and organizing substantial volumes of medical records, case documents, and discovery materials
  • Preparing detailed medical, treatment, incident, and damages chronologies
  • Reviewing medical records and identifying significant facts, treatment gaps, injuries, and damages
  • Assisting with discovery responses, court filings, document production, and trial preparation
  • Tracking deadlines and maintaining accurate, complete case-management records
  • Coordinating with medical experts, healthcare providers, vendors, local counsel, and co-counsel across multiple jurisdictions
  • Communicating professionally and compassionately with clients regarding records, treatment, and case updates
  • Assisting attorneys with insurance, causation, liability, and damages issues
  • Anticipating case needs, identifying potential problems, and helping the team develop practical solutions
  • Supporting attorneys through every phase of litigation

What We Are Looking For

The strongest candidates will have:

  • Well-documented litigation experience
  • Experience in personal injury, commercial litigation, or other complex civil litigation
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to analyze medical records
  • Experience managing large document collections and detailed case reviews
  • Proficiency with case-management software and common office technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in document management, filing, and deadline tracking
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple active cases without losing sight of important details
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Candidates who are well-versed in modern case-management platforms—particularly Filevine, Clio, or comparable systems—are strongly encouraged to apply.

English-Spanish bilingual ability is strongly preferred and highly valued.

A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred but not required for candidates with strong, relevant litigation experience.
