We are seeking a Case Manager with 2–5 years of personal injury experience who is detail-oriented, client-focused, and comfortable managing cases from intake through settlement. This role is ideal for someone who understands the personal injury lifecycle, takes ownership of their cases, and communicates confidently with clients, providers, and insurance adjusters.
Position Overview
The Case Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for clients and insurance carriers, managing case progression, treatment coordination, documentation, and settlement support. You will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure cases are properly developed, documented, and resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Intake & Case Setup
- Prepare and manage representation letters
- Obtain insurance information and retrieve insurance evidence
- Handle DMV-related requests and documentation
- Ensure clients get medical treatment
Client Communication & Case Progression
- Maintain consistent client communication throughout the case
- Provide Spanish-language client communication and follow-up
- Follow up on medical treatment and ensure continuity of care
- Coordinate doctor scheduling and ongoing treatment follow-up
Insurance & Property Damage
- Communicate with insurance adjusters
- Handle adjuster calls and ongoing insurance communications
- Resolve property damage claims
Medical Records, Liens & Documentation
- Collect medical records (prior and current)
- Identify, track, and assist with Medi-Cal and Medicare liens
- Manage incoming mail and email, including proper filing
- Assist with client disbursements following settlement
Settlement & Resolution Support
- Draft and prepare settlement demands
- Assist with settlement negotiations with insurance carriers
- Support attorneys with settlement documentation and case resolution
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a personal injury case manager (required)
- Strong understanding of the personal injury case lifecycle
- Spanish fluency (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using modern legal software
- Experience or strong interest in using AI tools to improve efficiency, including drafting, summarization, and workflow optimization
