Are you an experienced personal injury case manager looking for a firm where you can take ownership of your cases and see them through to the end? About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement. This role is perfect for someone who can handle both advanced casework and the day-to-day basics, ensuring cases move forward efficiently and successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of pre-litigation cases, ensuring smooth progression from start to resolution
Handle client intake, case openings, and initial file setup, including gathering ambulance and ER bills and records.
Handling subrogation including: opening and gathering bills and liens from Medi-Cal, Medi-Care (A/B/C&D), health-insurance subrogation
Oversee medical treatment coordination, assisting with demand preparation, and negotiations
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and reassured
Communicate effectively with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and attorneys
Negotiate liens with medical providers to maximize client settlements
Maintain organized and up-to-date case files using personal injury case management software
Work closely with attorneys to evaluate cases, strategize settlements, and transition to litigation when needed
Support and mentor other staff as necessary

What We’re Looking For:

case management experience
Proven ability to handle a large caseload independently
Strong knowledge of personal injury law, medical terminology, and insurance negotiations
Experience using personal injury case management software (e.g. Casepeer. FileVine, Clio, or similar)
Fluency in Spanish preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
A problem-solver who can proactively manage case challenges and keep things moving
