We are a well-established personal injury law firm headquartered in Monterey, California and looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Hiring Coordinator to join our team. Prior hiring, talent acquisition or recruitment experience is required to be successful in the role, but your prior experience does not need to be from a law office setting or within the legal field. We care more about the knowledge and skills you can bring to the role and how effectively you can showcase our open job roles to future job candidates and excite them to join our growing team!
About the position:
Due to increasing business, our office is consistently hiring for more positions that support daily operations and needs a fully dedicated person to lead our hiring efforts. You will be responsible for:
· Conducting job market research
· Making recommendations for staffing needs along with competitive job compensation
· Handling initial tasks related to our hiring process
· Independently placing job ads for various roles
· Reviewing candidate resumes
· Conducting initial phone and Zoom interviews
· Making recommendations to the Hiring Partner as to candidates advancing in the hiring rounds
· Assisting with new hire onboarding; and
· Performing delegated HR compliance tasks as requested.
Although we have an established hiring process, we highly value the opportunity for the right candidate to grow within their role, provide critical feedback, and make recommendations for change to keep our hiring efforts on target in an ever-evolving job market.
We will train you on our systems and processes, in addition to teaching you what candidate qualifications have historically lead to a new hire’s success within our business organization. This is an in-person position, and the work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8AM to 5PM, with a one-hour lunch break each day.

· You have deep knowledge related to recruitment, candidate engagement strategies and other methods to attract highly qualified candidates to apply.

· You demonstrate the ability to network well with job candidates, recruiters and other professionals alike.
· You have basic computer skills, can type a minimum of 65 WPM and know how to use many features within Zoom video conferencing.

Pay:
Between $26 – $30/per hour depending on skill and prior work experience. This position is also eligible for benefit options such as health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan participation, paid time off, paid sick days, and paid office holidays.
