Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous, self-motivated Bankruptcy Chapter 13 Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of dedicated consumer bankruptcy experience. The ideal candidate is an expert in managing Chapter 13 cases from initial client intake through confirmation and discharge.

Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Handle high-volume Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and statements with precision.
- Software & E-Filing: Utilize Best Case software to prepare and review debtor petitions, and file documents efficiently using ECF/PACER.
- Client Communication: Gather financial documentation, tax returns, and paystubs from clients; answer questions regarding the Chapter 13 process.
- Trustee & Court Coordination: Communicate routinely with Chapter 13 Trustees, handle audit inquiries, and prepare for 341(a) Meetings of Creditors.
- Plan Tracking: Monitor plan payments, track confirmation timelines, and manage creditor claims and objections.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated consumer bankruptcy experience (specifically Chapter 13).
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated, hands-on experience with Best Case software and federal ECF/PACERsystems.
- Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred to effectively serve our diverse client base.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage strict court deadlines independently.
- Remote Capability: A quiet, distraction-free home office setup with high-speed internet and a reliable computer system.
