A well-established local organization in Columbia, SC is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to join its legal support team on a temp-to-hire basis. The Bankruptcy Paralegal will work closely with attorneys, internal departments, clients, and external partners to review case information, manage documentation, monitor deadlines, and support effective legal decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bankruptcy-related matters, case documentation, legal correspondence, and file organization.
- Conduct research and investigate account, case, and legal information using online resources and internal systems.
- Review and analyze information from multiple sources to identify relevant details, risks, and potential solutions.
- Monitor case activity, deadlines, follow-up items, and required documentation to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, internal teams, and external parties as needed.
- Provide general legal and administrative support while maintaining accurate and organized records.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $50,000 to $55,000 per year.
- Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire.
