Our client, is a well-established and highly regarded mid-sized commercial law firm with an excellent reputation for delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice to a broad range of Irish and international clients.
As the Banking & Finance practice continues to expand, the firm is seeking an experienced Banking & Finance Partner to play a leading role in the continued growth of the department. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Partner or Senior Banking Lawyer looking to join a collaborative partnership where business development is encouraged, client relationships are valued and entrepreneurial thinking is rewarded. Salary: to €130k

Total Package: Up to €170k
The successful candidate will advise a broad client base including domestic and international lenders, borrowers, developers and financial institutions across a wide range of complex financing transactions, while working closely with colleagues across Corporate, Real Estate, Construction and Insolvency to deliver seamless client solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead on a broad range of banking and finance transactions for domestic and international clients.
- Advise lenders, borrowers, developers and investors on acquisition, development, real estate and corporate finance transactions.
- Manage secured and unsecured lending matters, refinancing, restructurings and syndicated lending transactions.
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
- Play an active role in developing and implementing the firm’s Banking & Finance growth strategy.
- Mentor and develop associates and senior associates within the team.
- Support business development initiatives through networking, client presentations and thought leadership.
- Maintain a strong profile within the banking and financial services market.
- Ensure the delivery of commercially focused, practical legal advice to clients operating in fast-moving sectors.
The Person
This opportunity will suit an established Banking & Finance Partner or an ambitious Senior Associate, Of Counsel or Legal Director with a demonstrable track record who is ready to take the next step in their career.
You will also have:
- Significant post-qualification experience specialising in Banking & Finance law.
- Strong experience advising on acquisition finance, real estate finance, development finance and secured lending transactions.
- Experience acting for banks, alternative lenders, borrowers, investors or financial institutions.
- An established professional network and proven business development capability.
- Excellent technical drafting and negotiation skills.
- A commercial, pragmatic approach with the ability to deliver practical solutions to complex transactions.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing junior lawyers.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- The ambition to help shape and grow a successful Banking & Finance practice.
