Banking & Finance Associate Attorney (2-5 Years)Represent Banks, Private Lenders & Borrowers | Sophisticated Transactions | Boutique Firm Culture

If Banking & Finance is your practice—not just something you’ve touched—we’d love to speak with you.

Our client, a highly respected boutique business law firm in North Dallas, is continuing to grow its Banking & Finance practice and is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of meaningful experience representing banks, private lenders, and borrowers in commercial lending transactions.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative team where associates work directly alongside experienced shareholders on sophisticated financing transactions while receiving meaningful mentorship and hands-on experience—not simply being assigned isolated pieces of larger deals.

What You’ll Be Working On

This isn’t a position where Banking & Finance is just one portion of your practice.

This team is looking for an attorney whose primary area of expertise is commercial Banking & Finance.

You’ll work on sophisticated lending transactions involving:

  • Commercial lending
  • Equipment finance
  • Commercial real estate finance
  • Asset-based lending
  • Cash-flow and acquisition financing
  • Secured and unsecured credit facilities
  • Syndicated lending transactions

You’ll have the opportunity to draft, negotiate and help close transactions while working directly with banks, private lenders and borrowers throughout Texas and nationwide.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has Experience With

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial loan documentation
  • Credit agreements
  • Promissory notes
  • Security agreements
  • UCC financing statements
  • Guaranties
  • Intercreditor agreements
  • Subordination agreements
  • Due diligence and transaction support
  • Commercial lending transactions from start to finish

Applicants should already have meaningful Banking & Finance experience as a core part of their current practice—not simply exposure through occasional matters.

Why Attorneys Enjoy This Firm

Our client has spent more than 35 years representing middle-market companies, real estate developers, investors, banks, private lenders, family offices and private equity clients.
