A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to join its Banking and Finance practice in Minneapolis, MN. This position involves representing lenders in a broad array of financial transactions, including acquisition financing, corporate credit facilities, and real estate lending. Duties:
Represent financial institutions in various debt financing arrangements, such as acquisition loans, corporate credit facilities, and real estate financing.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide strategic legal guidance tailored to client needs.
Draft, negotiate, and review complex financing agreements and related legal documentation.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth and deliver exceptional service.
Offer limited representation to borrowers in financial transactions.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience in banking and finance.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage clients and colleagues.
Proven analytical and writing skills to handle complex legal matters.
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications:
Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Eligibility to secure admission to the Minnesota State Bar promptly.
Skills:
Expertise in structuring, negotiating, and closing diverse financial transactions.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
