We are currently looking to add multiple part-time team members to our Overland Park team at Bury the Hatchet, KC LLC. We are a fun, team-building, retail entertainment company.
We are looking for someone with a wide range of talents. The position we are looking to fill will be titled Axe Master.
Axe Master Responsibilities are:
- Full face to face guest interaction. You make it fun!
- You will be hands-on and be the resident expert on equipment needs, safety protocols, and training guests on how to throw axes
- Hosting the best parties and ensuring everyone’s safety
- Light carpentry work (changing target boards, operating a drill/driver)
- Housekeeping and cleaning is required

- Open to feedback and coaching on the job
This job requires the following experience:
- Retail, amusement or hospitality experience (1 year preferred)
- Public speaking experience a plus (1 year preferred)
- We’ll teach you the rest!
Compensation:
Axe Masters are paid a base rate of $12 per hour to start PLUS TIPS! Most of our corporate clients tip very well.
***MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND AVAILABILITY ON WEEKENDS. This is mainly a weekend job.
***MUST PASS TIPS ALCOHOL CERTIFICATION IF HIRED
