Role Description The avocat(e) à la Cour will handle a portfolio of litigation matters, including commercial, corporate, and financial disputes before Luxembourg courts. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting legal submissions, contracts, and opinions; preparing procedural documents; conducting legal research; and developing case strategy in collaboration with partners. The role involves attending hearings, managing client communications, and coordinating with external stakeholders such as experts, counterparties, and authorities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Luxembourg.
Qualifications
- Admission as avocat(e) à la Cour in Luxembourg, with a strong foundation in commercial, corporate, and financial law.
- 4 to 6 years experience in litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and appearing before courts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly and persuasively.
- Fluency in French and strong proficiency in English; knowledge of German or Luxembourgish is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and rigor in legal work.
- Collaborative mindset, professional ethics, and the ability to work autonomously within a small team environment.
- Interest in continuous learning and staying current with developments in Luxembourg commercial and financial law.
- Experience with cross-border matters or international clients is a plus.
