Summary :
Negotiates, renegotiates and executes ancillary and hospital provider contracts in accordance with company standards in order to maintain and enhance provider networks and to meet/exceed the company’s accessibility, quality and financial goals.
Formal Education Required :
a) Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Experience & Training Required :
a) Three (3) years of experience to include contracting in a managed care environment.
c) Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a) Ability to formulate & carry out creative and unique ideas/methods to address particular issues effectively and efficiently.
b) Demonstrate attention to detail and accurately work with large amounts of contractual data and other legal documents.
c) Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
d) Effectively work with a variety of people at all levels, both internally and externally.
e) Organize and manage time to accurately complete tasks within designated time frames in fast-paced environment.
f) Maintain current knowledge of industry and related trends.
g) Successfully complete customer service training (e.g. All-Star Certification, MAGIC), within one year of hire.
h) Maintain current knowledge of and comply with regulatory and company policies & procedures.
i) Maintain confidentiality of patient and business information.
j) Flexible: ability to adjust work hours to meet business demands.
Level of Physical Demands:
a) Sit for prolonged periods of time.
b) Bend, stoop, and stretch.
c) Lift up to 25 pounds.
d) Manual dexterity to operate computer, phone, and standard office machines.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
