Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements locally.

2. Preparing and submitting the application for Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) with ASIC

3. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for the local entity to meet the requirements of ASIC AUSTRAC.

4. Assess emerging issues and risks and promptly escalate issues to local Director and Group Compliance.

5. Report compliance activities and audits to the Board.

6. Prepare and submit regulatory reports and notifications to ASIC and other relevant regulators in a timely manner.

7. Develop and implement an AML/CFT policy that complies with applicable regulations.

8. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate money laundering and terrorism financing risks.

9. Carry out and ensure the implementation of customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) procedures.

10. Conduct KYT due diligence reviews in a timely manner and suggest potential action points.

11. Maintain comprehensive records of all AML/CFT activities and reports.

12. Stay updated with the latest AML/CFT regulations and best practices.

13. Provide regular AML/CFT training to staff.

14. Liaise with regulatory bodies and law enforcement agencies regarding AML/CFT matters.

15. Other Adhoc tasks assigned by Group Compliance.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field

2. 5-7 years of compliance experience within ASIC-licensed entities or financial services sector

3. Demonstrated experience in AFSL compliance management, including licence condition monitoring and ASIC reporting

4. Strong knowledge of AML/CTF requirements and transaction monitoring

5. Proficiency in compliance monitoring tools and AML transaction monitoring systems (Sumsub, Chainalysis, or similar platforms)

6. Well organised, detail oriented, presentable and with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English (Proficency in Mandarin would be deemed an advantage).

7 Problem solving, time management, analytical, and investigative skills.

8. Demonstrated ability to analyse complex regulatory requirements and implement practical solutions.

9. Adaptability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as the business evolves.
