Sanchez Fischer Levine, LLP is currently seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join our fast-growing commercial litigation team in our Brickell office. Competitive compensation, excellent benefits package, and excellent work environment.
Requirements:
Must have knowledge of State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
Working knowledge of motion practice and pleadings
Candidates should be organized, self-starters with experience assisting with trial preparation, scheduling, billing, document preparation, e-filing, and other such standard legal assistant tasks
Candidate must be able to multi-task and be a great team player as position requires scheduling, review of documents, and constant communication with various parties
Candidate must have extensive knowledge of e-filing and e-courtesy
Possess a proactive personality with unrivaled customer service skills as well as be able to work under little supervision
Proficiency in computer programs such as Clio, NetDocuments, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF, and Outlook is a plus
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain busy litigation desk
Main duties include scheduling (hearings, depositions, mediation, etc.)
E-filing and e-service of pleadings
Filing of litigation pleadings, motions, and notices
Maintaining attorney calendars, scheduling events and deadlines
