Premier Staffing Source, Inc. is seeking an experienced Attorney to provide legal counsel and transactional support for a high-profile public construction and real estate program. This is an excellent opportunity for a New York-licensed attorney with experience in construction, real estate, or land use law who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
The successful candidate will negotiate and draft a variety of legal agreements, advise internal stakeholders on legal matters, and support complex real estate and construction transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, and review construction license agreements and related legal documents.
- Prepare and review contracts, Letters of Intent, Memoranda of Understanding, Contracts of Sale, licenses, leases, and Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment Agreements (SNDAs).
- Draft assignment and assumption agreements.
- Review zoning exhibits, title documents, surveys, and other real estate-related materials.
- Provide legal advice and recommendations on construction, real estate, and contractual matters.
- Identify legal risks and develop practical solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support project objectives.
- Manage multiple legal assignments while meeting strict deadlines.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda as needed.
- Perform other legal and transactional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of legal experience following admission to the New York State Bar.
- Excellent legal drafting, contract negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with construction law or building code matters.
- Experience in real estate, land use, zoning, or commercial real estate transactions.
- Experience negotiating complex contracts and development agreements.
- Experience supporting public-sector construction or government capital projects is highly desirable.
