About Us
Merchant Medical Legal Consulting (MMLC) is a growing healthcare consulting firm serving plaintiff attorneys through medical record review, nurse consulting, litigation support, and strategic partnerships. We are expanding our attorney outreach program and are seeking experienced professionals to build relationships with personal injury law firms.
Position Summary
We are looking for an independent contractor (1099) to develop relationships with plaintiff law firms throughout your assigned state. Your primary responsibility is introducing attorneys and their staff to resources available through MMLC, including pre-settlement funding solutions for qualifying clients and other litigation support services.
This is a relationship-focused position, not a cold-call sales role. Success comes from building trust with attorneys, litigation staff, and legal professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with plaintiff law firms throughout your assigned territory.
- Contact attorneys, litigation managers, paralegals, and case managers by phone, email, and in person when appropriate.
- Educate firms about available client funding resources.
- Generate qualified referrals through approved company processes.
- Maintain professional relationships through periodic follow-up.
- Represent Merchant Medical Legal Consulting with professionalism and integrity.
- Comply with all company policies and applicable privacy requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with plaintiff law firms.
- Litigation paralegal experience.
- Legal nurse consultant experience.
- Legal marketing or attorney business development.
- Court reporting, medical records, or litigation support sales.
- Insurance claims or personal injury experience.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
