Position: Â Attorney Medical Malpractice Defense Hybrid 146489
A rapidly expanding corporate defense firm with 7 attorneys is seeking an experienced defense litigator for an IMMEDIATE OPENING. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of accomplished trial attorneys and play a key role in growing the firm’s medical malpractice defense practice.
Position Overview:
Focus: Medical malpractice defense litigation
Involvement in all aspects of state and federal pretrial practice
First and second-chair trial experience is preferred
Salary range: $130,000 – $180,000, based on experience, plus bonus
Key Responsibilities:
Review and assess incoming cases
Manage complex pleadings and discovery
Conduct depositions
Draft and argue motions
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar
3+ years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in medical malpractice defense
Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
