Prominent law firm is seeking a Medical Malpractice Attorney for their Westchester or New York City offices. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of medical malpractice defense experience. Portables are not required.
Base pay range
$/yr – $/yr
Responsibilities:
Taking and defending depositions
Draft briefs, motions for summary judgment, pleadings, discovery
Draft reports to clients
Coordinate with and work-up expert witnesses
Participate in trial and mediation
Represent clients at courtroom appearances
Qualifications:
Must be admitted in New York
Must have familiarity and experience with NY Courts
Excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills required
2+ years of experience
Salary range 125k-185k+ depending on experience + Comprehensive Benefits Package
