Role Overview:
As an Associate Attorney at HeplerBroom, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse portfolio of defense cases under the guidance of senior partners. Your responsibilities will include:
Case Management: Assist in managing insurance, personal injury, premises, and transportation litigation files.
Litigation: Defend case files from inception through trial, including handling depositions, drafting motions, and attending court hearings.
Client Interaction: Prepare detailed status and trial strategy reports for clients.
Discovery: Oversee all aspects of discovery, such as drafting and responding to interrogatories, production requests, and requests to admit.
Qualifications:
Legal Qualifications: Licensed and in good standing with the Missouri bar; Illinois license preferred but not required.
Skills and Experience: Strong organizational and communication skills, proactive in seeking guidance, solid research and analytical abilities, with deposition and meaningful litigation experience preferred.
